TOP FIVE HIP CLASSES: Therapy for the Gluteals, Hips and Core Line

I find this sequence is helpful for those with piriformis syndrome/beginnings of sciatica and lower back weakness and tension. *For class, you will need a yoga block (or thick book/pillow) for this practice. The first twenty-five minutes of class begins on the ground with a heating and favourite practice of mine for exercising the gluteals, S.I joint, legs and core. We then stand up and do a standing series with a block that works the legs and core differently. A few simple backbends are integrated at the end of the sequence to encourage brightness for the rest of your day.
