This practice targets the neck, face, jaw and throat - C1-C7. These areas are "hot spots" for the embodiment of stress, tension and overthinking. We also use a Somatic Experiencing technique "vooooooo" to invoke a longer exhale and please the vagus nerve, the nerve that "turns on" the parasympathetic (rest/relax) response. This is great for the end of a long, stressful day.
