This is a busy and active pranayama set. There are ten parts to that are said to align with the "ten bodies" of our human experience. It is not a calming set while doing it, but will create a ripple of calm for your day. Expect a lot of bhastrika or bellows breaths - that quickly oxygenate the body. Good if you are feeling depressed, sluggish or sleepy.
