I introduce today's practice with a breath overview of what "somatic experiencing & embodiment" means. As well as Peter Levine's work breaking down post traumatic stress as an injury not a disorder - which connotes we can heal vs getting stuck in a disorder for the rest of our lives. We work with a kriya for becoming clear in the head and heart - and do a somatic experiencing technique for soothing the body/mind.
