We begin class with a nerdy visual on what neurons look like in your brain, mid-synapses: essentially when something new is being learned, a thought is being re-enforced. The depths of ancient yogic teachings are based on exactly this: the connections we choose to nurture, and the ones we choose to disconnect. Creating new pathways of thought requires practice and awareness but it is basic science: we can create anything from this wisdom.
