Oct 20: Five Yin Poses, Five Wishes & The Goddess Saraswati
IF YOU WANT TO RELAX: RESTORATIVE RX
•
1h 14m
We do only five poses this evening. This is an evening practice preferably. The Goddess Saraswati is a deity in the folklore of HInduism: the symbolism of art, music, study, books, learning. This time of year her energy is celebrated in the fall as we step into deeper teachings beyond books and the order of society.
This evening we hold poses longer in order for you to settle into sweetness of the Saraswati vibe. "Hamsa"- means goose or swan - a symbol often depicted with Saraswati. We will use this as our mantra to create a gentle cadence with your breath, and drop into her magical energy.
