Oct 2: Gut-Brain. Serotonin & Gratitude Breathwork (30 min)
We focus on the gut and breathwork with the knowledge that the "gut brain" is where 90% of our serotonin is produced. What also has been shown to stimulate serotonin? Gratitude. The two are mixed together in today's practice.

Sept 30: Mixed Breathwork, Spinal Movement & Pratyahara (30 min)
The invitation of "pratyahara" is discussed at the start. We do a variety of the usual movements of the spine and moderate to intense breath.

Sept 30: Quick Restorative (25 min)
This is a shortened 25 min practice including thread the needle, hamstrings, twists and a restorative camel.

Sept 25: Mood & Negativity Medicine: Breath for Elevation (30 min)
This practice includes some basic seated asana as well alongside breathwork. It is somewhat advanced but doable for newer students. It helps move myofascial tension as well as a bad mood, fatigue or negativity in the mind. One of my favorites!

Sept 23: Grounding Breath: Sudarshan Kriya
This is perfect for the fall equinox. It quiet, calming and grounding. It is called "Sudarshan" Kriya. It is intense and grounding diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing and three short bouts of bellows breath.

Re-Release: Classic Autumn Flow (60min)
This filled with all of the usual-juicy warriors, breath and twists with an emphasis on heat. It is intermediate, warming, juicy practice into moving with your breath + some longer holds. We end with backbends and hips.

Sept 19: Adrenaline & Advanced Breathwork Practice (minimal cueing) 29 min
This is not suitable for. beginners. We work gradually into speed and lengths of breath sets, We work with the adrenaline system to stimulate the brain and body in order to enhance your focus and attention.

This is not a straight up yoga practice - but an infusion practice, blending short bouts of cardiovascular energy, core work, shaking the body, breathwork and yoga asana all in one.

Sept 17: Supernova Advanced Breathwork (28 min)
This is an advanced practice not suitable for beginners. Today we work with a slower to more intense practice of the physiological sigh with spinal movement and option into a WimHof variation.

Sept 19: Release Tension: Somatic Flush (33 min)
This is not a yoga class, although we do some yoga poses, it is a quick "flush" practice with the intention of moving physical and mental tension out of the way. We thump the heels, shake limbs, spring/jump, squat, get into the hips and glutes and breathe.

Sept 17: Quiet Yin (29 min)
This is a restorative practice into the hips, hamstrings and inner groins. I give a lot of space today.

Sept 15: Minimal Cueing with Mixed Breath Practice (30 min)
This is a mixed breathwork practice - we go right into without too much chit chat. We do 3 sets of kaphalabhati x 120 reps with hip openers, 3 sets of bellows breath, 15, 25, 35 and end with alternate nostril breathing.

This is a mixed practice including flow, hips, hamstrings and backbends.

Sept 16: Theory of Life & Death Advanced Breath Practice (28 min)
This is an advanced practice as I share my recent experience with death - and one way of understanding the building of inner"Prana" life-force while we are still here as the conduit to building what remains when we are no longer here. We do breath of fire followed by Wim Hof breath.

Sept 12: Quick Release (26 min)
This is a practice if you are feeling like you want to move your body but don't feel like just yoga. We drop the heels, move your spine, increase energy and release tension.

Sept 11: Becoming Seaweed: Calm Breath & Embodiment (30 min)
This is a "feminine" embodiment practice regardless of your gender - we all have masculine and feminine connections to nature. We do one set of breath of fire followed by one long continuous stream of soothing inhales and exhales with calm spinal movements.

Sept 10: A Practice for when you're exhausted (35 min)
This is a practice that is useful if you are exhausted and barely feeling like practicing. You are pooped out from your work week or emotionally/physically exhausted and have zero motivation. We do Child's Pose, a gentle backbend, supported bridge, a gentle twist, and a forward fold.

This is a classic intermediate hip flow / flush and ends with three camels (backbends). We begin with repetitive lunging salutations with an abundance of breath - to generate heat and sweat. We also integrate closing breath of fire as well.
