Nov 3: Cathartic Hip Flow (58 min)
This is a juicy flow practice that focuses on opening your hips in all of their directions. We then end on the floor doing one of my favorite 4-part sequences that opens the hips and hamstrings: quad stretch, half splits, pigeon prep and ending in virasana (hero's pose) and a backbend.

Oct 21: Shoulder & Upper Back Flow (53 min)
Grab a towel or strap. Today is a shoulder opening flow. We take the glenohumeral joint as well as your scapula (shoulder blades). This is excellent for those who shrug, hold tension in the neck, shoulders and jaw...This is a bit of a flow practice but we also hold the poses longer.

Oct 14: Restorative & Slow Flow Hip Therapy (52 min)
This practice is mostly restorative poses into the hips and hamstrings with the middle of practice infused with an easy going flow practice....We keep it pretty slow moving when it comes to the flow. We then end with pigeon, virasana a spinal twist and savasana.

This is a full body practice with focus on spinal strength and suppleness. We open the hips and take the spine in all of its directions.

We are back to the OG classes! This is one of my favourite focal points to teach around: the shoulder girdle. Expect an entire practice designed to create heat, sweat AND open your shoulders.

Oct 6: Harvest Moon Flow (Full Body & Hip Focus) 52 min
This class was filmed during the autumn full moon. We start with a gradual warm-up for the first 8 minutes followed by a mixed flow that includes two arm balances and classic poses to ignite and open the hips. We end with pigeons/saddle and two sets of bridge or bridge to wheel pose.

Sept 8: Hip Vinyasa Flow (60 min)
This is a classic intermediate hip flow / flush and ends with three camels (backbends). We begin with repetitive lunging salutations with an abundance of breath - to generate heat and sweat. We also integrate closing breath of fire as well.

This is a slower moving practice into the hips. It is not sweaty or a work-out kind of practice - but slow and mindful into shapes that open the hips and hamstrings in many directions.

This is a unique and therapeutic flow with the three anatomical planes as theme: sagittal (flex and extending at joints) coronal (moving side to side, laterally with your joints) and transverse (twisting and joint rotation). It is a juicy, sweaty practice for the full body. Enjoy!
