This has pep! Expect a stronger practice with hops/abs/core awareness.

  • March 25: Abdominal Work + Detox Flow

You will need a block or substitute. We begin with abdominals, followed by a standing sequence into all parts of the body including the shoulders, deep core and spinal twists. Enjoy!

  • March 11: Sweaty Detox

This pairs nicely with the March 11th pranayama. It is sweaty, twisty and cleansing. Great for spring.

This breath practice implements several short bouts of shining skull breath in neck releases, twists and spinal extensions in order to go deeper.

  • Oct 21: Detox: De-compressive/Compressive/Twists

This is a go-to of mine, integrating breath work throughout: 1. Full Uddiyana Bandha to move energy into the internal organs. 2. Core 3. Flow to get warm 4. Decompressive (lengthening) 5. Compressive (massaging into the organs and joints). 6. Twists 7. A few backbends to brighten up. 8. Cleansing...

  • Part 2: Detox Flow (2015)

This is an intermediate practice. You will need a block and an extra yoga mat if you happen to have one at home - if not, a pillow will do. *If you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, have had recent surgery or current issues in your belly - do not do this class. (The end of class it gets a bit...

Handstand hopping, some longer holds, tons of core. Tuesday, kick in the pants sweat!

  • April 20: Strong Tuesday Practice (Strong Intermediate)

This is a bit old skool. A ton of chatarungas. Core work. Some fun balancing poses. Handstand. Headstand. Not for beginners.

  • April 13: Old School Power Flow (not for beginners) *See below on sound quality*

*A heads up this is fully audible but I noticed it has a bit of a muffled sound. My apologies, I will fix for tomorrow hopefully. * This is a faster paced flow at times with longer holds, arm balancing core work, intense hip work, shoulder stand sequence. Little bursts of cardio bouts.

  • March 30: Power Flow (Intermediate)

A mainly standing sequence with a standing splits flow, a couple of arm balances, twists, dancer pose and backbend sequence including two wheels. Enjoy!

  • March 23: Traditional Power Practice

As requested, a straight up power-flow class with a bit of everything: faster moving sun salutations, some arm balancing, upper body strength, balancing one-legged, hips, core work, three wheels. The theme of the pranayama (vayus) is also spun into this.

  • March 15: Two & Twenties Spring Cleanse: Hatha/Kundalini/Power

Today we make simple, sweaty. We just lost an hour of sleep due to the spring time change. Repetition is good for foggy head spaces, feeling rhythm when you feel the opposite, and gives a sense of control again. We build heat quickly doing repetitive movements either for two minutes or sets of tw...

I speak briefly to the Yoga Sutras, followed by a full spectrum practice. Some arm balancing, core and upper body, standing balancing poses, backbends and shoulderstand/plow pose at the end.

This is a mellow class - an integration of old suryas, breathwork and gentle standing asanas.

This is an unusual sequence bring attention to the Lymphatic System. BIG sweeping movements, Breath. Attention to the armpits, neck and groins.

  • Feb 9: Moderate/Full Spectrum Practice

Today there is no real body-focus. It is a moderate, not too hard, practice incorporating all parts of the body.

  • Jan 19: Tapas Building for Temperament

This isn't a comfortable class nor is it "hard." It will take you out of your usual alignment at parts, encourage breath sets to pump heat, and starts slow and sneaks up quickly into sweat. Tapas is a word that references intentional work in yoga to create heat in the body, sometimes provocative...
